PRESTART PACKAGE
We work with the client on all aspects of the build to achieve an overall style and flow for the design home. We liaise with the client directly through the process for ease peace of mind and ease of the builder & client. With our extensive experience in the building industry, our supplier contacts and knowledge of process and procedures we make the selection journey as enjoyable and streamline as possible.
SELECTIONS SCHEDULE
Packaged together in one document, the schedule includes the material, colour,sizes etc of all products used in the build for the client to sign off on and for the builder to quote/order.
● Cabinetry, & Bench top material
● Wet areas tiles & splash backs
● Plumbing & Sanitary fittings & fixtures
● Hardware & accessories such as internal & entry doors, handles, skirting, cornice
● Feature cladding such as stone & walling
● Floor finishes & locations
● Paint & Floor Selections
● Appliances
● Staircase & balustrade design & selections
● Electrical fittings such as power points, exhaust, fans & light fixtures
● Miscellaneous items such as fireplace
● External finishes & colours such as render, roof/gutter/fascia, garage, cladding, decking
3D MODELS
We include 3D models of you kitchen & one wet area which depict & include;
● Exact colours used in the house and their location
● Assists visual flow of the spaces ensuring sizes are visually accurate
● Help iron out any design flaws assumptions
● Opportunity to add in design features
MARK UPS TO PLANS
To be relayed back to drafting, we work with you on marking up plans with suggestions;
● Cabinetry layout mark ups
● Electrical plan mark ups
The Process
FIRST CONTACT
We will engage with the client to arrange our first design meeting for the earliest convenient. We require the latest plans and any addendum/ builder contracts.
Any design inspo is greatly appreciated
MEETINGS
Our first meeting is to be held at a tile showroom to discuss the style and begin with titles, cabinetry & tops. We also explore colours, materials textures throughout. During our first meeting we go through all of your documentation in depth.
We will also book in our next meeting together.
DEVELOPMENT
Between meetings we will research areas we need to address for the build and populate selectins into the selections schedule.
REVISIONS
We allow 3x meetings and 3x revisions to do selections of all areas of the build. Please allow 2-3 weeks between meetings. We ensure the client receive the latest document to revise before our next meeting
SIGN OFF
Once and final tweaks and changes have been made to selection, mark ups & models, we will send through an e-signature document to approve that the client has read the document as is happy for quoting/ordering by the builder.
