We work with the client on all aspects of the renovation to achieve an overall style and flow for the design home. We liaise with the client directly through the process for ease peace of mind and ease of the builder & client. With our extensive experience in the building industry, our supplier contacts and knowledge of process and procedures we make the selection journey as enjoyable and streamline as possible
SELECTIONS SCHEDULE
Packaged together in one document, the schedule includes the material, colour, sizes etc of all products used in the renovations for the builder and/or trades to to quote/order/work from.
● Cabinetry, bench top & splash back material
● Wet areas tiles & splash backs
● Plumbing & Sanitary fittings & fixtures
● Hardware & accessories such as internal & entry doors, handles, skirting, cornice
● Paint & Floor Selections
● Appliances
● Electrical fittings such as power points, exhaust, fans & light fixtures
3D MODELS
3D models are essentials to visualise the overall look and feel of the proposed designs,
● Assists visual flow of the spaces ensuring sizes are visually accurate
● Help iron out any design flaws and assumptions
● Opportunity to add in design features
● See exact colours used in the house and their location
2D LAYOUT DRAWINGS
Internal drawings are essential for the builder or trade to quote and work from. We develop the plans with the client and relay all selection chosen tinto the drawings to ensure products are suitable for the space
● Demolition, proposed & detailed plans
● Elevations depicting heights and additional notes
● Proposed electrical layout
The Process
FIRST CONTACT
After our initial consultation and quote has been accepted, we will do our site measurements to prepare concept drawings.
To better understand the brief as well as discussions, design inspo images are greatly appreciated
Prior the the first meeting, we will send through the concept drawings for client review.
MEETINGS
The first meeting is to be held at a selected showroom to explore colours, materials textures throughout. During our first meeting we go through all of the documentation in depth, We then begin selecting tiles, cabinetry & tops.
We will also book in the next meeting.
DEVELOPMENT
We now implement the selections into the 3D and 2D drawings and start populating into a selections schedule and research materials for the project.
REVISIONS
We allow 3x meetings and 3x revisions to do selections of all areas of the build. Please allow 2-3 weeks between meetings.
We ensure the client receive the latest document to revise before our next meeting
SIGN OFF
Once and final tweaks and changes have been made to selection, mark ups & models, we will send through an signature document to approve that the client has read the document as is happy for this to be used for quoting/ordering by the builder.
